So if I wish for my eyesight back, I don't get magical eyes (which you could dispell) but I get actual working eyes as if they were always there. On the topic of wish: I believe its canonical that wish doesn't provide something as a spell effect, it actually makes something. It supresses magic items, but does not permanently destroy them. My guess is that you are playing DnD 5e? You can find a good example in the DnD 3.5 edition.
